Hello folks, I plan to share a bunch of very rare vinyl records in high quality rips, as well as tips on how to proceed when you want to digitize vinyl records properly. Additionally I will also share random thoughts on the music sharing blog-o-sphere. Coming soon.
As I sit here running Samplitude, a vintage copy of Cool edit, and a killer inexpensive package called "click repair", which I use to scrub clean the artifacts of age and abuse, I too am curious to see and learn your techniques. I will admit to doing this work as an act of pure love that, alas, truly tests my patience and stamina. After 3 or 4 albums of this and I'm done for 6 months.
So much music, so little time… But it’s nice to see that there’s interest out there before I even started. Who would have thought that. Alright, alright. In fact, I already had that nice little German album almost ready somewhere…?
